Team OpCellence organized SynOpsis, a premier national-level case study competition. The event provided a platform for B-school students across India to demonstrate their analytical and strategic prowess in operations management.
Supported by International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) India, OpCellence knowledge partner, SynOpsis featured a three-round format. The competition began with quiz round, assessing foundational knowledge of Operations Management, Product Management, and current affairs. Followed by a 3 - slider case submission round, where participants crafted innovative solutions to a real-world challenge of AI based demand forecasting. The final case presentation round, held online, saw the top seven teams present their refined strategies to the event judge, Mr. Sandeep Chatterjee, CEO, ISCEA India on December 22, 2024.
With 353 registrations and 9,556 views on Unstop, SynOpsis 2024 attracted enthusiastic participation from leading MBA colleges nationwide. The top three teams received a total cash prize of INR 45,000 and certifications worth INR 6.8L from ISCEA, underscoring the event's prestige. Through events like SynOpsis, Team OpCellence continues to raise the bar for operational excellence, encouraging students to tackle complex challenges with creativity and rigor.
