The Sports Management Team conducted their flagship sports festival Gravitas '23 from 13th to 15th February 2023. The top B-schools of the country visited our beautiful hilltop campus and took part in a plethora of sports activities. The mega-fest delivered a unique opportunity for students from premier B-schools all over the country to go head-to-head against each other in intense competition, and promoted teamwork, strategizing, leadership and an opportunity to network and form new bonds.
With 3 days of action packed events, 11 competing colleges and 8 sports, Gravitas ‘23 was among the top events of the academic year 2022-23. The 11 competing colleges were, NMIMS, NITIE, KJSIM, BITSoM, SCMHRD, SJMSOM, SIIB, SCIT, SSBF, SIDTM and our own SIBM Pune. The sports were a mix of indoor and outdoor sports including, cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess and swimming. This year's theme was "Unfolding the Future", which was designed around the theme of the future of sports by taking into consideration the rapid growth and drastic changes in sports and technology. We believe that sports play a crucial role in the overall development of a student and provide an opportunity for students to come together and bond over a common love for sports. And that's why we had all the events lined up for our sports enthusiasts!
