Entrepreneurship Summit 2022 was organized by the Social, Entrepreneurship and Consulting Cell with the vision to boost the entrepreneurial culture in the batch with special emphasis on creating a medium to support budding entrepreneurs pursuing their MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship by providing an opportunity for them to showcase their products. This was a platform to enable networking and create an ecosystem of investors, entrepreneurs, mentors, and the students of SIBM Pune. Under the banner of this event, we conducted a plethora of competitions, workshops, and sessions for students to gain valuable insights about the entrepreneurial journey, it's booming growth in the country, and the reality of the business environment. We had the opportunity of hosting the founder of MobiKwik, Ms. Upasana Taku, who encouraged the students with her motto, 'Kick up a storm or die trying'. This event was attended by over 120 students from various universities and also the national-level competition finals. We also were able to host finalists from Shark Tank India by hosting an insightful panel discussion between these driven entrepreneurs. The national-level competitions that we hosted received great participation and also gave students an opportunity to hone the entrepreneurial mindset within the students by giving them a chance to practice their enterprising skills. This event was well received by all the students, participants, and faculty members.
