Vitarka - The HR and IR Club of SIBM Pune successfully hosted caHRnival 2025, its flagship annual national case competition, with an exhilarating pirate-themed twist. This year's competition challenged participants to tackle HR dilemmas in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment that tested their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Held in March 2025on Unstop, caHRnival 2025 garnered over 20,000 impressions and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 200+ teams representing premier B-schools across the country. The competition unfolded in three rigorous stages, beginning with The Captain’s Call, an online quiz that tested HR knowledge, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities. This was followed by The Treasure Map Challenge, where participants devised innovative HR solutions to address industry-specific challenges. The competition culminated in The Final Voyage, where the top teams presented their strategies before an esteemed panel of judges.

The grand finale was marked by intense deliberations as participants defended their solutions in front of Dr. Akriti Chaubey and Dr. Sujoy Sen, who assessed their presentations based on problem-solving approach, creativity, and practical applicability. The competition witnessed a remarkable display of strategic thinking and HR expertise, making the final showdown an engaging and thought-provoking experience. After a highly competitive battle, Mandevian Achievers from MDI secured the first position, followed by Schneider from MDI in second place, and Titan Thinkers from SCMHRD claiming the third spot. The winners were awarded a prize pool worth ₹45,000, recognizing their exceptional performance and strategic acumen.
