The launch of GRAVITAS'20 was a grand success. It laid the perfect stepping stone for the events to unfold as we move ahead towards GRAVITAS next year.
The evening started with a short video of appreciation, featuring moments from the past events like Hoopster, Dwandva and Box Cricket and Rink Football and thanking all those who supported us throughout the year. The importance of GRAVITAS and its legacy was explained to the audience to create a buzz about the biggest B School Sports competition.
QUOD joined hands with the Sports Management Team to organize a SPORTS QUIZ and executed the whole process flawlessly.
We saw captains of various SIBM Sports Teams talk about their experiences last year as they urged the audience to participate and support their home team during the course of the event.
The Student President, Mr. Rahul Pant also spoke a few motivating words to the audience about the importance of sports and what GRAVITAS meant to him.
Keeping up with the legacy of unveiling a mascot every year, "FELIX THE TIGER" was the show stealer as he engaged the audience with his moves as he put up a great show.
Later in the evening, two of our batch mates, Shivam Dubey from MBA I&E and Tejasv Chharri from MBA 1 Marketing performed stand up comedy on stage.
The highlight of the evening were the three stand-up comedians from Mumbai namely Praveen Pandya, Sourabh Bothra and Rejoy Joseph who entertained the audience tickle with their humour.
The main event of the evening included the theme launch and the banner and the logo reveal for GRAVITAS'20. The theme for this year was revealed as "SAGA OF THE SENSES" and the banner reveal was planned accordingly which was executed with excellent coordination.
QUOD then organized the final round of the SPORTS QUIZ which featured top six teams from the first round as they battled to claim the top spot.
As the event neared its end, we concluded on a high as the audience left the room with a huge smile on their face which was an indicator of the successful completion of the GRAVITAS'20 Launch.
