Employees are a critical resource for an organization. It is their commitment, loyalty, and involvement in the job that extends towards the organizational productivity and performance. When employees stay for a longer time, it contributes toward the organizational performance and the building up of a strong culture within the organization, with higher trust and productivity and lowers employee turnover and absenteeism. However, with continuous change in the workforce composition, the managerial issues are increasing. It is becoming difficult for the managers to accommodate, organize, control, and direct the ever-changing generations in their workforce. Therefore, this chapter deals with how married employees posit a role towards workforce diversity.
