Abstract

With the flourishing of the organic food products in the market, a new perspective was observed amongst customers which felt like the shift towards a healthier lifestyle would be one of the preferences of the customers. However, when it comes to actual switching to these products, there is still a void which is created by the difference in price with respect to pre-existing products. The Purpose of this study is to understand the buying behaviour of the customer towards these healthy traditionally made food products as to what extent are they willing to switch to them for their quality over it’s price, what are the different factors that affect the buying behaviour of the customer. The method used for this data collection is going to be through Question/Answer sessions with the sample audience which will be including customers involved directly/indirectly in the purchase of the regular grocery shopping. The reason for targeting such an audience is to understand what is a bigger preference and influencer for them. The method will help gain a personal insight into the consumer preference..
