Vitarka
Vitarka, the HR and IR Club of SIBM Pune, is dedicated to all things HR. During the academic year 2022-2023, Vitarka organised a diverse range of learning initiatives to enhance the knowledge and engagement of students. These included:
- Lectures conducted by senior batch students aimed at providing a strong foundation of key HR topics to junior batch students.
- Curated content that offers insights into industry best practices as well as regular updates on industry trends, articles, appointments, and other relevant happenings in the world of HR.
- Engaging quizzes organised by Vitarka to test and reinforce students' understanding of HR concepts and principles.
Additionally, Vitarka organised several National Level B-School competitions that witnessed significant participation from B-Schools across the country:
- caHRnival'23: Vitarka's flagship case competition, where participants were tasked with revamping the HR strategy of the renowned Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
- cHRysalis'23: A case study competition under Transcend 2023, focusing on the acquisition of social media giant Glitter by an eccentric billionaire, which led to organisational turmoil. Participants were challenged to provide a comprehensive solution to retain top talent, attract new talent, and enhance Glitter's brand image among current and prospective employees.
- aHRticulate'23: An Article Writing Competition on contemporary HR topics. Winning articles were featured in Vitarka's annual magazine, HR Fusion 6.0.
