Student Exchange Program

In order to build momentum for internationalization across the institution, we at SIBM Pune have taken initiatives to introduce an international dimension into an existing structure and mode of operation.

help students to cope with the global academic environment SIBM Pune offers to its students Semester exchange programme in collaboration with International Universities like University of Dauphine, were the first French university to obtain the EQUIS( European Quality Improvement System) accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development in recognition of their academic excellence and committed global perspective, The Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL) one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany offering courses in private and public sector business administration and economics, Arizona State University, ASU ranks as the top university in Arizona for innovation, affordability, quality of students and degree programs. These programs help students in developing as a national and global citizen and as productive members of the workforce. Such programs provide many avenues for students to increase their global reach.

The students of SIBM Pune have actively participated in various summer programs offered by International Institutes like The Berlin International Summer School by The Berlin School of Economics and Law, Nanyang Technological University summer programme, and International Summer School, University Bremen, Germany.

Collaboration

SIBM Pune is also in the process of looking out for opportunities for collaboration with other international universities. Very recently SIBM Pune hosted Prof Kaushal Chari, Associate Dean for Research and Professional Programs, Muma College of Business, University of South Florida to discuss possible areas of collaboration. To explore joint research opportunities with DePaul University SIBM Pune had invited Prof Zafar Associate Professor, Driehaus College of Business, DePaul University to interact with their faculty members.

In the month of October 2014, SIBM Pune organized an exploratory meeting with international delegates from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. The delegates from BSEL included Prof. Andreas Zaby, Deputy President of BSEL, Prof. Gert Bruche, in charge of India Relations at the BSEL, Prof. Ingo Fischer, Academic Director of Master International Business & Consulting, Prof. Markus Loecher, Prof. of Mathematics and Statistics, Ingrid Sperber, Head of International Office, and Prof. Matthias Tomenendal, who is the Director of 'Institute of Management Berlin’. Apart from student exchange programme, SIBM Pune is also looking out for opportunities for faculty collaboration in the areas of International Management, Strategic Management, Management Consulting, Quantitative Methods, and Innovation/Entrepreneurship/Venture Capital Financing etc. with BSEL.
