The Global Programme in Enterprise Risk Management (GPERM) is a 12-month on-campus residential postgraduate-level joint certification course offered jointly by the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune (SIBM Pune) and the Institute of Risk Management's (IRM, headquartered in the UK) India Affiliate. The IRM, established in 1986, is the world’s leading certifying body for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) education across 140 countries. While SIBM Pune is a constituent of SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL (DEEMED UNIVERSITY) - SIU. Established in 1978, SIBM Pune is one of the premier B-Schools in India and is consistently ranked among the top 10 B-Schools in the country.

To be eligible for admission to the Global Programme in Enterprise Risk Management (GPERM), applicants must meet the following requirements:
Pedagogy at SIBM Pune is a mix of many methodologies. Apart from the usual classroom sessions, there is a conscious effort to make the sessions interactive by using case studies and references of latest developments in the relevant field. In addition, students are encouraged to undertake multiple projects to hone their research and analytical skills. Latest tools and techniques like Business Simulations are used wherever possible. Guest lectures are organized by inviting leading corporate executives, especially from the alumni pool and risk professionals. Students will also get exposure to live projects and industrial visits. They will have access to various learning resources, collaborative research books and the Virtual Learning Portal of IRM India Affiliate. This portal hosts case studies, international pre-recorded sessions and several other learning resources. More importantly, students will have a unique opportunity of global immersion at the Dubai campus of SIU. This will be optional opportunity and will involve payment of additional fees over and above the course fee.
