Dr. Vivek Sane– The Director of SIBM
Dear Students,
I welcome you to SIBM. Ours is the first Management Institute in Symbiosis International (Deemed University), established in the year 1978. The present batch (year 2010-2012) will be the 33rd batch of our institute. As you are all aware, our institute is consistently ranked among the top 4 institutes all over India for the last many years by various publications. My predecessor Dr.Arun Mudbidri has taken this institute on a fast-track growth path over the years. Student community, corporates and academicians have lauded his efforts.
It is now my turn to shoulder this immense responsibility to the best of my ability along with my team of teaching, non- teaching and supporting staff. We have also built an extensive network of illustrious alumni who will be a source of inspiration for you.
I personally believe that in these days of hyper-competition, knowledge is the only differentiating factor keeping you ahead of others. Please consider these two years as the greatest investment of your life. We at SIBM promise that you will find a total transformation in your personality in this span.
It is not just academics, but also learning through extra-curricular, co-curricular and industry interface that builds a total management personality today. Parents have great expectations and hope for their children and we assure them that their ward and his future is in safe hands.
So Dear Students, Welcome aboard, tighten your seat belts and be ready for a great take-off.
