The Product Management & Technology (PMT) Club at SIBM Pune hosted its first event of the academic year, "PM Unplugged: Ask. Learn. Explore." on 14th June 2025. Conducted as an online session for MBA-I students, the event featured three accomplished SIBM alumni: Shreya Mohammed (AI Product Manager, Wipro), Akshat Gupta (Business Analyst, American Express) and Kshitij Sharma (Management Consulting Analyst, Accenture Strategy & Consulting). The session was structured in two parts — the speakers first shared their career journeys, day-to-day roles, and the realities of transitioning into product management from an MBA; this was followed by an engaging Q&A segment, where they answered pre-submitted student questions on skills, tools, frameworks, and planning an MBA pathway towards product roles. The event provided first-year students with valuable clarity on breaking into product management and understanding the practical challenges and opportunities in the field.
