The MarkUp Lectures series, hosted by Mark-O-Polo, served as a valuable academic bridge for MBA-I Marketing students to grasp core concepts introduced in SEED by RSDT. The three-part session was led by an expert panel of MBA-II Marketing students—Elrich Saldanha, Ashutosh Nanda, Vedant Diwan, Namrata Chavan, Rohit Khatua, and Anshul Dua—who brought real-world insight, academic precision, and peer relatability to the sessions. Designed to be interactive and practice-driven, the lectures covered key strategic marketing and sales concepts, including industry-standard frameworks, distribution strategies, and branding principles. By simplifying complex concepts and sharing personal learnings from internships and classroom experience, the sessions helped create a comfortable yet intellectually enriching learning environment. Attendees found the sessions particularly useful in aligning their foundational understanding with the expectations of the SEED structure. The peer-to-peer format promoted open dialogue, better relatability, and deeper engagement, setting a strong precedent for future academic support initiatives. The Mark Up Lectures are a testament to the society’s commitment to peer-led growth and ensuring that each marketing student is equipped with the tools and confidence to thrive academically and professionally.
