Jigyasa is an initiative by OpCellence, the Operations Club of SIBM Pune, created to bring clarity to students who are curious about Operations as a specialisation. Many students are often unsure about what Operations truly entails, the kind of roles it offers, or whether it aligns with their career goals. This interactive session aimed to address those questions by breaking common myths and giving participants a realistic perspective of the field. Jigyasa provided a platform where curiosity met experience, as attendees got the opportunity to directly hear from alumni of the Batch of 2025 as well as MBA-2 seniors who had first-hand knowledge of the specialization and its opportunities. Through their stories and insights, participants could gain an understanding of what Operations really offered, including roles in industry, the nature of internships, SIP preparation, and overall career pathways. By learning directly from those who had already walked this path, attendees could decode the real value and scope of Operations, making Jigyasa a valuable opportunity for anyone who was considering or exploring this specialization.
