Advent 2025, an icebreaking event for the incoming MBA students at SIBM Pune, took place on 18th, 19th, and 20th, of July 2025. Organized by the Aspirant Relations Team (ART), the event successfully promoted teamwork, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and creativity among the new batch.
The primary objective of Advent 2025 was to foster a sense of camaraderie and belonging among first-year students while offering them a platform to develop lasting bonds. The event commenced with Crypticality on July 18th. Kicked off as the perfect curtain-raiser, challenging participants to decode movie titles through quirky visual puns and clues. It set a lively tone for the days ahead, sparking wit, teamwork, and fresh connections.
The following day, the students were engaged with the game of Muted Mania. This fun game had students guessing movie names through lip-reading and expressions while wearing headphones. Equal parts hilarious and tricky, it sparked laughter while showcasing non-verbal communication and creative thinking.
The excitement continued on July 20th with Speed Sort, which tested participants’ reflexes and categorization skills under tight time limits. With cards flying and tables buzzing, teams balanced speed with logic to make quick decisions together. This was immediately followed by Vertiquest. This tower-stacking challenge tested memory, precision, and composure as participants balanced objects while recalling patterns. It pushed their focus and patience, proving that true strength lies in balance and strategy.
Advent 2025 was not simply a series of engaging activities; it was a thoughtfully orchestrated experience that fortified student connections and cultivated a collaborative learning environment for the upcoming MBA journey at SIBM Pune.
